UPDATE 1/8/13: This promotion has ended. You can still read the bloggers' reviews by clicking on the post links below. Thanks for visiting!
Cetaphil® products are recommended by more dermatologists than any other brand of skin cleansers and moisturizers. After all, they’ve been carefully formulated to provide effective, gentle skin care to help your skin look and feel its best — no matter what category your skin type falls into.
We provided bloggers with Cetaphil products to try and let us know what they thought. Click on the post links below to read their reviews. Each blogger is also giving away a $100 Visa gift card which can buy a lot of Cetaphil! Entering a comment on any of the reviews will serve as your entry to the sweepstakes! The guidelines and rules can be found at the bottom of each post.
The Winter Skin Sweepstakes runs from 12/11/12 through 1/7/13 and is only open to individuals who, at the time of entry deadline, are legal residents of the United States and are 18 years or older. Read the official rules here. Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. Good luck!
Cetaphil products are recommended by more dermatologists than any other brand. I've been using Cetaphil products since I was in high school. Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser was the first of the product line I started using. Now years later, I keep a large bottle of Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser in my shower....more
I have polycystic ovary syndrome, also known as PCOS. Or to those of us suffering with it “THE BANE OF OUR EXISTANCE.” Because not only does it hinder your ability to have a baby, it also wreaks havoc on your skin. It’s a fun ailment, that one. Or not....more
I've written before that I have extremely sensitive skin. In fact, even most products marketed for sensitive skin have ingredients that irritate my skin. To add to my problems, I also have a lot of allergies. If any products contain certain plant or nut extracts, I might have an allergic reaction. The same goes for anything containing soy or coconut. I was happy to accept the opportunity from Blogher and Cetaphil brand to try a few products that might be gentle enough for my tricky skin....more
BlogHer recently contacted me and asked if I would like to review two Cetaphil products this month. You all know I have struggled with acne-prone skin, so I am pretty game to try anything that may help. On top of that, you may remember that I had complained earlier this month that I still did not have any kind of sun protection at all in my routine, so when I read that one of the products was the Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 I absolutely jumped at the chance...more
It was one of those days unexpectedly devoted to clearing out clutter. A peek into a few of my makeup bins to find an errant blush snowballed into a trip down memory lane, and I took a moment to think back on some tried and true makeup and skincare products. Some of these mainstays have been around from my teenage years, when I was first learning about beauty....more
Today I'm going to talk about a brand that never gets enough love from what I've seen: Cetaphil! I've got the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 to show you....more
A little over a year ago, I bemoaned my awful skin. I eventually bought a Clarisonic Brush and McKenzie suggested that I use Cetaphil with it instead of the expensive face wash that was recommended. I used the brush, but I didn’t buy the Cetaphil. It worked pretty well, but wasn’t some kind of major $200 worth of improvement. Eventually, I went back to the dermatologist and told her about my serious life-altering skincare problems....more
If you're anything like me, you've been using the same skin care products for years and years (or... ummmm... maybe a couple of, dare I say, decades.) Just the thought of trying something new is a little daunting. Once I got past the idea of forsaking my long-time favorite brand and tried something new, I realized rather quickly that change may not be such a bad thing after all....more
Is there ever a time in our lives when we can stop worrying about our skin? We worry about too much sun. We worry about wrinkles. We worry about break-outs. Then we worry about oily skin or dry skin....more
My skin is far from perfect! It isn't the worst I've ever seen but it surely isn't the best. For many years, I figured that the more money I spent on skin care products, the better my skin would look. I've learned that spending more money doesn't mean I'll be getting a better product, or that my skin will look better!...more
