Change a listing?

The site I list here is at a new address with a new name. In other words, it's the same place with new drapes. Should I change the listing here, or submit the new blog and delete the old one? How do I delete a listing?

Changing a blog listing

If you created the listing originally, you should be able to click the "edit" button on the left side of the blog listing. This will allow you to edit the url/description/name. Or at the bottom of the edit page you can select delete to completely delete the blog if it no longer exists.

I would recommend editing rather than deleting and resubmitting your new info.

Thanks. I didn't know if I should, seeing as though it's a new URL.

I think editing is best

In your situation because your blog has been in the listing for ages - you're just ditching the old blog in favor of the new due to your need to change hosts and stuff, right? :-)

Which reminds me, I need to change my subscription for your blog in my feedreader.

Right. But's it's sort of a new blog because I haven't moved any posts over. Either way, I tried to edit it, and it pointed me to a "change a listing" form, which I filled out.

Oh, one more question: I submitted my music blog, which I see on the blogrolls, but I never received an email saying it was accepted. So all's good, then?

(Bonus question: how do you get your feed on Blogher's sidebar?)

Bonus answers!

Five Dollar Radio is listed. You usually only get an email if your blog listing request is turned down. :-)

I wonder where those change a listing requests go - I'll find out. Heh. Available Light is now listed and Hypnotizing Chickens is gone (sniff sniff, I liked that blog name)

At this time, we don't feed any member feeds into the sidebar on BlogHer. Your feed can be added to your "tag profile" but I see yours needs to be reset and I'm doing that right now.

You might be talking about the "More from BlogHer" links that are visible on the home page and some topic areas. Those links are pulled from the BlogHer Ad Network - and if you haven't joined, you totally should do that. :-)

Those are the ones, and I'm planning to, once I get a few more posts under my belt with this site.
