By any chance were you attempting to search for how to get your post to publish on the front page of BlogHer.com? The posts at the top of our front page are selected and featured by our editors. If you scroll below that, posts filter in chronologically. I hope that helps!
: Dear BlogHer chatter peeps - my go to people and coffee afficionado - what is the drip coffee (not fresh press) method into a glass pot?

Comments

French drip?
Denise is that basically a filter over a glass pot that you pour hot water?  I thought it was called something else... tried looking it up but I'm getting french presses.  Immersion?
Linda Anselmi yes french drip you just poor water over the filter, though it doesn't have to be glass, in my experience.
Denise Linda Anselmi Yes!!!   That is it exactly!  Even the brand I was looking for - Chemex!   Thank you Denise!!!
Linda Anselmi Awesome! Glad I could help.
: Anyone else having twitter issues?

Comments

I don't use twitter enough to know if I am having issues.  Looks OK to me.  I was able to tweet something.  Or are you speaking of the combo of blogher and twitter?
Not that I've noticed, but I also don't use Twitter a whole lot anymore.
Thanks for checking.  It's odd.  Some tweets look perfectly fine.  Others are blank white spaces.  Not tied to BlogHer.
Linda Anselmi Sounds like it might be a load issue. Maybe a slower than usual internet connection?
Karen Ballum Linda Anselmi you are probably right.  Today it is back to normal. :)
: This week feels really, really, REALLY long.

Comments

True. For me it's because I am not getting stuff on my list crossed off. Sigh.
Denise I am so ready for the weekend.
For me today seems really really really long as my cold is draining me of my usual energy!   Only two more hours to go till I can go home and nap!

Wonderful. Thanks for sharing. A treasure.
Wow!  thanks for sharing.  Awesome interview.  Maya Angelou was such an inspiration.  Love where she talks about her responsibility as a writer and truth teller.  I wonder why interviewer didn't publish the interview at the time?
: I applied for the network and the blogher badge but didn't get a response (it has been more than 15 days) - any tips?

Comments

Ha-Ha-Ha! More than fifteen days! Ha-Ha-Ha! I have applied many times beginning over 2 1/2 years ago. The first thing you need to know, is that, from what I understand, the BlogHer Publishing Network only works with Blogger sites, not WordPress. BlogHer is formatted in its coding to automatically pull in posts from Blogger sites. I am sure Denise or Karen will add more to this, but I thought I would jump in to make it look like I know something. :) So, my tip is make sure your web site is a Blogger site. Much Love, Fondly, Robin
SunbonnetSmart.com That's not quite accurate. We can automatically pull snippets from any blogs in our network, not just blogger blogs. We do allow wordpress.org blogs, just not wordpress.com blogs (which is not our rule but a wordpress.com issue) as well as other platforms that allow bloggers to install the proper ad code. :-)
It can take quite awhile... if you haven't received a response within six months, reapply to the network. (We do accept wordpress.org blogs, not wordpress.com blogs -- and blogger is not the only blog platform we accept. There are many others. ;-))
See, EllieJKlein? I knew a BlogHer Fairy Godmother would be fluttering by...
Thanks! It is a blogger site so at least I've got that going for me.
Denise Thanks for this info!

Denise! Pa-LEEZE. Lead by example. You'll find no sympathy here. Not with CAPS, you won't.
SunbonnetSmart.com  Haha. Apparently I found sympathy with the animals. They all shut up (briefly) after I typed that. Long enough for both me and TW to get through phone calls. I call that a lucky win. ;-)
Curses...foiled again. Well, I'm glad all of the fur babies are happy and quiet.
: Does anyone know how to delete 3 duplicate post HELP

I'm deleting all of the extras now. :-)
