I went to a vegan Thanksgiving once and it was a big fail for me but except for the two lentil dishes (really dislike lentils), I think I would like most of these vegan items.
cdrdash It's true, not all vegan Thanksgiving meals are great -- particularly for non-vegans. I'm pretty pleased by this whole list. (And I like lentils, heh.)
Denise It was a potluck vegan Thanksgiving so there was an overabundance of bean based or lentil based dishes none of which I liked.  I believe I brought drinks.  I should have brought a vegan dish I knew I could fill up on.  Despite the lack of food I liked at this potluck, I loved the company so it wasn't a total fail!   I filled up on non-vegan food when I got home.

Hello there, Kirsy! Many bloggers are ready to be overnight sensations when they start, but the truth is, traffic and Internet presence take quite a while to build. Do you have a web site? Are you exploring and building traffic on Social Media? In addition to your work on BlogHer, you will need to reach out in exploring additional options and consistently build them to gather a following.  I have been blogging since 2010 and on BlogHer since 2011 and it took about three years before I started making money, although I enjoyed the participation and friends long before that. It is worth the time and effort, but takes a great deal before monetary rewards appear. In other words, blogging is one of those, "don't quit your day job," pursuits. There are many, "How to," helps for blogging if one does a Search. For instance, here's one: http://amylynnandrews.com/how-to-blog/  Here's another: http://startbloggingonline.com/ The blogging community is very friendly, with lots of free advice, or you can purchase e-books and tutorials to help you on your way. Good luck with your plans, Much Love, Fondly, Robin
BlogHer Inc provides opportunities for women to earn revenue through the BlogHer Publishing Network and Influencers Network. You can apply to both of those in the My Opportunities section of your account. (Run your cursor over your profile photo in the top right corner of the page to see that link.) In that section you can also find the form that allows you to submit individual posts for syndication consideration. We pay $50 for each post we choose to syndicate.
hey girls i really appreciate the fact u took time off your schedule to answer me Denise  I did went for the syndication program in order to be eligible you must be on blogher at least 90 days so i wasnt eligibleSunbonnetSmart.com tHank you I have no doubts on how great this community works and help each other out..hey, I was wonderong though can you advertise for other company or I need to have been on blogher for a certain time? XoxOxoXo thank u for your time ladies! ;-)
KirsyAbreu You don't have to be blogging for 90 days before you can pitch individual posts for syndication. That's only applicable for the BlogHer Publishing Network. I'm not sure what you mean by "can you advertise for other companies".
Hey there, Kirsy! You're welcome. Good to e-meet you. It's lots of fun, here on BlogHer!
ok Im starting to get the picture! Ok so all I do is go to "blogher opportunities" click on syndicate publishing network and then I send my article? You go to BlogHer Opportunities and click "submit your content" which will take you to a page that explains the guidelines and the process. We do not guarantee that we will take every post that's submitted, so I can't tell you how long it might take for an editor to contact you to ask to syndicate the piece.
: Can anyone please help me out??. Ok i started blogging less than a month ago i thought i will be making money right away but

Love your new holly & snowflake piece.  Looks like a lot of work there!   Fabulous as a  christmas throw pillow or mug or pewter ornament ...
Linda Anselmi Thank you so much, Linda! I actually had a lot of fun putting the products together with this design - it really worked well on quite a few pieces. :)

: While misdiagnosed with CFS I related to the blog in this post (from 2011); turns out they also had my real illness http://goo.gl/7xjBxn
: Plus: I rediscovered BlogHer this week. Minus (kind of): spending too much time reading articles. Impressed with content.

Woops, darn it.  First time using Chatter and I did it wrong!
RockyMountainMom  Nah, you didn't do it wrong. Duplicate posts happen to everyone, now and then. Plus, I'm just gonna clean the extra one up now. No worries. Welcome!
Both are a plus :)

: If you were my passport, where would you be? Lol

No idea.  If I were my passport I would be in my VIS (very important stuff) drawer or in my safety deposit box in the bank.
cdrdash I think mine is in our fireproof box thingy. I should go look.

: Foggy Saturday morning but its burning off fast. What's the weather doing in your neck of the woods?

Comments

It is cloudy but nice out here in Fl.
Fog is gone now.  Its warm and sunny in Silicon Valley, California.
Wind and snow all week, temps ranging from 1-5 degrees each morning...jumped to 26 at the heat of the day, but windchill warning for evening!  Heck of a weather week for us (in Montana)
