Wonderful!
: How incredibly tired was I at BH14? I met a rocket scientist and didn't remember until I read her post. Happy I met cdrdash!

When did I meet you?  Were you the first woman who was impressed with my career near my age that I described in my post?
What I remember (no alcohol involved in this lapse, only extreme lack of sleep).  ElaineRN, Anita Finlay and I were eating huddled around a little table at the VOTY reception. Somehow we started chatting with you and I remember hearing Rocket scientist and NASA and Anita (I think) exclaiming excitedly and shaking your hand.  And something about how amazing that you were able to get into that career at the time that you did. Then again, maybe I was actually sleeping and the whole conversation happened nearby and I overheard it ...  I nodded off more than once during those amazing & powerful VOTYs (once while standing up to stay awake).   I'm the youngest of the three of us, but I was the one with gray hair.
Linda Anselmi I didn't go to the VOTY reception, just the VOTY readings.  I don't recall meeting an Anita or Elaine RN at my table.  But I was pretty scattered at Blogher'14 so could just not remember meeting all you folks.
cdrdash Linda Anselmi It's weird, as soon as I read your post I remembered hearing the conversation.  And I thought Anita was part of it.  I thought I said hello and maybe shook you hand, but there was a lot of activity and people around.  Was it during the MidLifer?  Maybe when they were doing a big picture of everyone?   Oh well.  Sorry if we didn't meet after all.  I guess there is always next year.
Linda Anselmi Sigh...I would have been huddled around that table with you! Best laid plans...
BlogHer IS an endurance contest. With so many wonderful events and people to meet, it's demanding. Both years, I've crawled in to the VOTYs to be finished off. What's left of me is carried on a stretcher to the VOTY reception. There, I usually like to commandeer a freezer full of Dove Bars for my own personal use. They keep me going until I can find my hotel room, and, hopefully, fall lengthwise onto the bed.
SunbonnetSmart.com Darn it I didn't see any Dove Bars this year.  That would have totally saved the day(s)!  Ice cream and chocolate is like orange juice and sunshine.  Life saving, mood altering...   I hope BH15 is on the east coast!
Robin --  You were missed!

That happens a lot -- which is why we so often go out or order delivery. ;-)

Big problem. If you could remember that, you wouldn't need the coffee. Well, maybe you would. I would. Never mind...
SunbonnetSmart.com I would but I would probably need the coffee less. lol
Better not to chance it...
