I'm sorry to hear that! I hope where she is is a good place, and that she is as happy as she can be.

I remember Des Plaines! Many years ago, tho... Hope you had a good holiday weekend!

Ah Oak Park is relatively close to us. We're in Glenview and my "sil" is in a facility in Des Plaines.

She's ok but this is a long term situation for her and I don't think she'll ever leave this facility. Or if she does it will be to another.
