Sticking my head in the sand and pretending it's not just a few days before Christmas.

I'll be working for 5 more work days, going to a couple Stanford Women's basketball games, day hiking, delivering library books, Christmas caroling on Dec 21 with my brother in SF, packing, flying to Michigan where I'll visit with my folks and hopefully go x-country skiing the day before XMAS if there is enough snow! Phew.

cdrdash For your sake, I hope there's snow. Illinois & Wisconsin have been virtually snow-free so far. Some is predicted (mixed with rain) on Monday and Tuesday... that's not gonna be enough for cross country skiing. Maybe they're getting more in Michigan though...

Denise my folks live in Houghton, MI, way up north on the upper peninsula . It's snowing there right now! I just hope it sticks and sticks around till I'm there!
