So have you heard? Puxsutawney Phil did NOT see his shadow this morning, which means an early spring! Hooray!
Boy I hope he’s right. I don’t know about you, but I think we have paid our dues this winter. Time for some sunshine and leaves on the trees.
In celebration of Groundhog’s Day and the promise of an early spring, I am going to share my husband Jeff’s excellent pomegranate martini recipe. This is one of my favorite cocktail hour drinks during the winter months. It’s not too sweet, and is a colorful way to begin an evening with friends.
Jeff adds a generous amount of pomegranate seeds to the martini glass, which become infused with the flavors of the drink, and are a wonderful treat to nibble on when your sipping is done.
