Last Monday was my mom’s birthday. Since we had a large family dinner the night before, Dad brilliantly decided to celebrate by dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. Yum.
While we were there, my sister (who by the way does NOT need to worry about calories) mentioned that she and her boyfriend had looked up the nutritional information on the cheesecakes beforehand. They decided to share one piece of cheesecake based on what they found.
I got my own piece. Red velvet cheesecake. Yum.
I couldn’t finish the whole thing so I brought the rest home. Tonight as I scarfed down the rest of the yummy piece of heaven, I decided to look up the nutritional information myself. Bad idea.

One piece of cheesecake contains my entire recommended caloric intake for a whole day. I guess its a good thing I ate half one day and half the other! In order to burn off those calories, I will need to spend 5 hours and 22 minutes on the treadmill. Next time I think I’ll just get a cup of coffee.
