Buy a 9' wired green pine artificial garland. Not the straight piece but the one that has little shoots of branches going off the sides. Lay on the floor on newspaper and straighted and spread it out. Hot glue pine cones, cinnamon sticks tied with raffia, faux apples, dried orange slices, bay leaves, santas, dried apple slices, gingerbread men, snowmen, angels, poinsettias, brown bag ornaments, country or shiny ornaments, cinnamon ornaments, stars or rusty decor onto the garland. Intertwine a set of twinkle lights through the garland, end to end. You can wrap the whole garland in raffia (like the garland on a tree) , ribbon, a cranberry or popcorn garland or shiny pearl garland. Use what you have. Hang above a door or window.

You could make a garland for children, using beanie babies.

Cut a large handful of grape vines. Hold the cut end and fasten with wire. Drape it over the window, inside or out. Add metal stars or cookie cutters. Let some hang from ribbon or wire. Add a set of white twinkle lights.

Purchase a faux pine wreath and a pillar candle that will sit inside the wreath. Glue whole walnuts and faux berries to the wreath. Lay the wreath on your table and insert apples between the branches of the wreath. Insert candle.

Buy a pajama bottom pattern for each member of your family. Make them Christmas bottoms and buy them a tee shirt that matches. Save your patterns and make Valentine, Easter, Birthdays that they HAVE to wear on each others birthdays.....just a fun thing to do.

Find a tray or large piece of mirror. Set a large pillar candle on it. Lay sprigs of pine around the candle. If you have plastic fruit, spray paint it gold and add them. Add pine cones, cookies, ornaments, citrus slices or shiny ornaments, for a quick centerpiece.
