Cinco de Mayo, Gluten-Free

Mexican Dip in Jar

In our house, we celebrate everything. I love holidays, celebrations and learning the history behind them all. Cultural studies, especially pertaining to food, captivates me. Lucky for me, homeschooling the kiddos has always provided me that reason I need to celebrate holidays and customs from all over the world. Cinco de Mayo is extra-special for us – it’s our feline furboys’ birthday. Cinco de Meow. Double celebration! I’ll spare you the kitty party, but I do have some pretty amazing gluten-free recipes that you may want to whip up for 5/5. And if you’re interested in learning the basics about this Mexican holiday, check this out.
