Clean Eating Cookies

Clean Eating Cookies

Happy New Year! It’s always exciting to kickoff a new year and all the possibilities that it holds. I’m sure you, like me, have made resolutions, goals, and plans for the upcoming calendar. Often at New Years we promise ourselves to start a new diet, eat healthier and exercise more.

Today’s recipe will make some of that absolutely possible! These clean cookies are made with minimal ingredients, taste amazing and leave you feeling good after dessert. That’s what you call winning all around!

I’ve seen several baking recipes for Clean Cookies all over Pinterest lately. I was especially intrigued by the recipe on The Burlap Bag which called for 2 ingredients. Yes Ma’am, that recipe is right up my alley!

Lauren has totally got the right idea here with 2 bananas and 1 cup of oats.

She shared how her family tried these with walnuts, chocolate chips, cinnamon, raisins, etc.

My hubby’s favorite cookies are Oatmeal Raisin so I combined this nasty old banana that was waiting to go some where…

This poor old banana seemed doomed.

one more normal (newer) banana,

1 cup of oats and 3 tbsp of raisins. Mix up your 2 ingredient base and whatever add-ins you’d like, drop on Greased baking sheet and bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

They turned out delicious! These cookies make a great snack to fuel the afternoon, morning grab and go, or just a good clean cookie.

Enjoy clean eating and still having a sweet tooth!
