Climbing out of the Cubicle

I put in my 8 hours a day at work, and let’s just say that I don’t have my dream job.  I work in a cubicle as a secretary for a big agency.

I work with wonderful people, but the actual work is boring, tedious, and unsatisfying.  There are people who can relate to that, right?!?!

From my first day on the job, I knew I had to make my life after work meaningful and exciting.  I used every second of my downtime to find stimulating activities and fun people.  I have made a lot of friends and done some amazing things.

I have climbed Mt. Washington.

I have read a few books.

I have traveled to some great places.

I have been on many hikes.

Now that I’ve experienced so much, I’ve realized that my life is not about my 9-5.   My life is about how I spend my 5-9.

I have also fallen in love with blogging.

This website is my next step to sharing my life, my opinions, and my suggestions to the world.

Sometimes, I just need to climb out of the cubicle……
