  6. Last week wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been, seeing as we didn't really have a meal plan. There was one take-out meal (I had a shawarma craving) and for the rest we rummaged in the freezer and pantry and found plenty to eat. But this week we have, more or less, a proper meal plan. My family has a history of mental illness.  Mental illness is very genetic.  Looking back, I'm failry certain my mother was BiPolar.  I don't remember much of her diagnoses.  She was put in a hospital when I was 7, came home about 6 months later and no one ever talked about it again.  After that point in my life, I don't have very clear memories of her participation in my life.  I was diagnosed with Clinical Depression and Generalized Anxiety by the time I was 17.  Read more >

  8. I came so close to crossing off all 10 of my To Dos in January. I'm going to work hard to get all 10 crossed off this month. Seriously. I'm going to DO IT! Here's my list: 1) Straighten up the bookshelves. 2) Read at least five books for my reading challenges. 3) Talk to Haldechick about a custom piece. 4) Go couponing at Menards. 5) Clean out the medicine cabinet. 6) Figure out when I'm going to Hawaii. 7) Clean out the cabinets/shelves in my desk.  Read more >

  9. I had great plans for this week. Or rather, I had great plans of making great plans for this week. Then I sat down on Sunday and couldn't figure out anything.
