Confessions | AKA Things I Shouldn't Probably Share With You
By swt_catastrophe on August 13, 2014
It's only Wednesday and I already feel like its been the longest week of my life. I'm on day 11 of a nasty cold, it just doesn't want to let up. Combine said nasty cold with my latest Gentamicin injection and I'm feeling crappy (and cranky). Oddly enough this mood has left me wanting to share a few confessions with you today, so here we go.
1 | Blogging allows me to edit my life, showing you only the good but in reality I have a lot of bad days too. I'm not rich, can't buy the next latest greatest thing whenever I want but I tend to see it as a good thing. That way I truly appreciate what I buy.
2 | I regret not changing my major to Education in college. Unfortunately it wasn't even on my radar then, I was more focused on Communication, Sociology, Biology and Art. I had a hard time choosing a major (as you can probably tell) and even switched late in my junior year. Looking back now I think I would have loved teaching.
3 | As a child I was obsessed with the Olympics (alright, I'm still obsessed). But back then I practiced the "balance beam" on a picnic table bench and created my very own synchronized swimming routines.
4 | Once night during my junior year of college my friends and I drove a car through a pedestrian tunnel on campus (that tunnel was begging to have a car driven through it!). Another friend saw us (aka we almost ran him over) and when he asked us about it the next day we acted clueless. To this day he still believes that it wasn't us!
5 | Blogging is much harder than I thought it would be. I love creating content and sharing my life with readers but I wish you would interact with me more. Your support and comments mean the world to me!
6 | I added the Starz package to my programming on Monday for just one show - Outlander. It's based on my most favorite novel series ever Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I NEED to see it.
7 | My first kiss was a disaster. I was 16 and as I went to say goodbye one night with a hug, he went in for a kiss which landed awkwardly half on my lips and half on my cheek - you can see why this went horribly wrong. Oh and did I mention it was raining. Yeah, good times. I think the relationship lasted about a week - we were serious folks.
