Corazonas Review

I had the privilege of sampling some Corazonas products recently. Below are descriptions of the products as well as my thoughts. Please note that I was given these samples for free and all opinions and reviews are my own.

Recently I was asked to sample a few new products by Corazonas. These snack foods are infused with plant sterols, which have been shown in more than 140 clinical studies to help fight heart disease by lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol. Corazonas uses heart-healthy ingredients, but is still able to keep the great taste and texture you are used to. Since high cholesterol runs in my family, I was super excited to try this line of products!

The first product I tried were the Oatmeal Squares. They are the perfect size for breakfast on-the-go. Each square provides 13-16 grams of whole grain, 5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein, and 0.8 grams of plant sterols per serving. They are moist and full of flavor, plus they come in a wide variety of flavors, such as Cranberry Flax, Chocolate Brownie & Almonds, Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Banana Walnut, Blueberry, and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut! Why wouldn't you want to try these, especially since they have so many health benefits and I also found that they curbed my appetite in the morning. Plus I can vouch that they are all extremely delicious!

The second product I tried were the Tortilla Chips. Chris and I are big fans of chips and salsa, so these were right up our alley. They are made with 18 grams of whole grain, 3 grams of fiber, and 0.5 grams of plant sterols per serving. The three flavors they are available in are Lightly Salted, Squeeze of Lime and Black Bean & Cheese. Lime chips are my favorite, and the Squeeze of Lime package did not disappoint. These are perfect for a snack or with your favorite dip, plus they leave you feeling like you made a healthy choice. Knowing that they help lower your bad cholesterol is just an added bonus. Try these out next time in place of the other brands of chips you usually buy!
