Cottage Rose Bliss

I wanted to create something special this week. Something that is new for me, and has never been kreated by me. I am teaching myself how to make fabric roses. I have a video on my blog from about a year ago. I didn't really understand how, just from the video. But after getting started on this pretty, I gave the fabric rose my own take on how I wanted it to look like. Here is a sneak peek at what it looked like when I started to work on it:

Amethyst Freshwater Pearls Necklace w. Brooch - Rose Bliss

I have to say, it was very fun! Now I know how to make a fabric rose. If you would like the full instructions, just scroll down on my blog until you find the video called "How to make a fabric rose". It was fun! Here is a picture of the finished necklace:

This pretty and elegant necklace is made of amethyst gems, crystal quartz, freshwater pearls and silver wire with silver chain. I wire wrapped each station individually to give it sparkle and shine. The amethysts are nuggets, rounds, and rondelles. I added a deep purple crystal quartz rondell here and there, along with beautiful lavender and deep purple freshwater pearls. I also included some pretty lavender fire polished beads to accentuate the mix of purple gemstones. I think it turned out to be a nice addition to the shop. If you are interested in seeing more, you may do so at my shop! Right now, there is a nice sale going on. Leave me some comments on what you'd love to see. I love receiving new ideas from you!
