Countdown to New York! (Two Vegan for Her Events in Westchester!)

I wanted to say happy Tuesday but then I realized today is Wednesday. Wow, things have been nutty. Between the book launch and weekend travel for book events + some really exciting consulting work that I’ve been doing, well, I guess I do lose track of the day of the week and even the time of day.

I now I’m prepping for another trip: New York this weekend!

returned to New York in May to speak at The Seed so this will be my second trip since moving to Colorado – this time with Dave who is co-leading a NY Triathlon Camp in Westchester.

I’m excited to visit some of my old favorites, including Haven Restaurant and Sweet Grass Grill in Westchester and Peacefood Cafe in NYC (with Main Street Vegan Academy Alumni - and Victoria Moran!).

I also have two fun book events going on in Westchester:

1. Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. I am offering a cooking demonstration class in Tarrytown at my friend Jen’s fabulous coworking space.

Healthy Food Preparation for the Busy Non-Cook:  Tips, Tricks and Techniques to Add More Plants to Your Diet.

Registration fee includes a signed copy of Vegan for Her!

2. Later Sunday, at 5:00 p.m. I will be hosting An Author Meet and Greet + Book Signing in Larchmont. This casual event will be held at my friend Emin’s restaurant. I’ll be hanging out in the lounge area with a stack of books, a glass of wine, and will be nibbling on the many vegan options available at this fantastic Turkish restaurant.

I hope to see you in New York this weekend!
