Hey y'all! Thanks so much for joining us last night on Facebook to discuss and dissect the hautes and the nautes! How much fun to watch with a gang of mamas! In our pjs..in bed..with a dish of m+ms bedside. Or was that just me? Anywhoooo... I think we all agreed, the music was amazing, the fashion bleh.. So instead of nominating my favorites, which I will leave to the other mamas, I decided to create some new awards:
Best Color Coordinated Group: Lady Antebellum! Seriously, I have problems matching my own clothes, but this group pulled off a serious coup. Bravo! You peeps owned the night! Perfect! and congrats on taking home Video of the year! - Kimberly
Best "No honey I know you're eyes are up there" Look: Mr. Kidman Keith Urban! I think he wants to kiss a girl
Or he can't bare to look at her horrible hairstyle.... are ya kidding Mrs. Kidman you're not a kid man! - Kimberly
Best accessory award: Miranda Lambert. Not a huge fan of her fashion choices but my gawd, they are countries reigning cutest couple! Just LOVE the two of them together and clearly they love being together.
I love the way he looks at her with such love and awe! and I love how she rocks that curvy body of hers! - Kimberly
Most Sequins: Brad..what the?! Paisley?? Remind me again..Brad? Paisley?
Only Country Cowboys can rock a sequin sports coat, kiss a stuffed puppet and still make a girl swoon! Kate and I saw Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley in 2010 at Country Fest.... they can sure rock a stadium! -Kimberly

As the often wordy blogger of the group I must say that we started the night excited only to see what the fashions were but as the show went on it was the music and the energy of the artists that took over. Even as we chatted on Facebook it was about how much we loved a song or were touched by a tribute. I'm not sure if it's me but with the Country Music shows and concerts it's not about the hoopla and special effects its about the music putting on one hell of a show for their fans!
