My store is a Western Vintage Boutique and my blog is "my store, my stories." Life finding vintage treasures, juggling career and family, and finding balance as I search for items to sell that are authentic, practical, and beautiful. Vintage Western boots, old trophy buckles, beautiful hats, vintage cookie jars, fantastic original colorful art, and more. I love what I do. My life is not without it's obstacles, but I work hard each day to find beauty, and joy, and make a living.

Four days off after a busy holiday shopping season. I was happy and relaxed Christmas day, tired on Sunday, and a bit anxious on Monday and Tuesday. I'm in retail, I'm supposed to be working right? But my store is different. My inventory is different, and my hours are different. Wednesday through Saturday allows me to find inventory, merchandise, clean, do bookwork, shop and cook and play with my family. My store is authentic, practical, beautiful. Shouldn't I be too?
Here's to the 4 day winter retail work week!
