Inspiration is an elusive thing. One season everything we look at inspires a new project; another year and nothing turns us running to our supplies. The occasional jump-start helps. A run through the crafting blogs gave me news of shows and projects that have inspired the bloggers and that might inspire you.
Sara, at Crafts of Texture, is on the Board of Editors for DIY City Magazine, and is searching for London-based DIY shops and designers to feature to feature in their summer, LONDON Issue. I scored this cigar box of old thread on wooden spools. (Never know when those will come in handy) Right now my brain feels a bit like that box. Full of ideas and possibilities, yet mixed up and unwinding at the same time. (ha! my iBrain is stuck on "shuffle") I've been dabbling around the studio, making a mess and experimenting with some new techniques. I might share some of them. I might keep them to myself. We'll see...
Bits of Beads and Fiber was inspired by the Cyber Fyber Exhibition to start playing again! It's amazing what looking at other people's ideas for a bit of paper, some fabric and beads can do!
Super Naturale pointed me to the Lupin Project, created by Elena Corchero at exploring lost values through craft and technology. As she writes:

Stationery designer Jill Deluce is the first guest blogger at IndieFixx's coverage of National Stationery Show taking place this week. She picks three of her favorite exhibitors and highlights their wares.
