To help our users find blogs by women, we organize BlogHer's blog lists into more than 20 popular topics. Each BlogHer topic is both a directory of blogs on the subject, and a guide to what's hot -- the latest breaking news, commentary and buzz from these blogs, written by a team of seasoned bloggers who act as contributing editors for the BlogHer Network.

We realize this list of topics is not a comprehensive taxonomy. At this point we don't want it to be - these topics are designed to aid as a surfing guide to the latest, greatest posts by women who blog.

Will the site ever include more or different topics? Probably. As we keep saying, the network is in beta...and until then, you can "free tag" your posts to make sure they pop up in search.
