Well soup and holiday type lattes from Starbucks.
I've become such a soup addict. You can make a lot of it and have it for the rest of the week. It's one of my favorite sunday activities.

So excited to try out new ones.

I had nearly all these same posts marked for a round-up -- they're so good though, that I'm glad you got to them sooner, Kalyn!

The funny thing was, yesterday or the day before, there were like 10 posts in a row, all about soup, in my RSS reader. And guess what I made for supper last night ... s o u p.

I'm with Mir. Soup is the reason to love winter... and fall. These soups are a lot more inventive than mine, though. Maybe my goal for the winter will be to be more creative with my soup.

Mir, I'm with you on this. It's interesting, I hate winter with a passion (and here I am living in the one-time home of the winter olympics!) but I love winter cooking.

If you think the idea of soup for dinner is a tad bit boring, check out the very interesting soups I'm finding on some of my favorite blogs.

First, the pictured soup, at Je Mange la Ville Michelle has a successful soup expriment when she combines Delicata squash, sweet potatoes, hazelnuts, and sage.

Karina, the Gluten-Free Goddess makes an amazing looking Tortilla Soup, and in the crockpot too, so there's no saying you're too busy.

In Sweden, Anne of Anne's Food is eating Pea Soup with Sweet Potatoes and Serrano Ham.

Jennifer at Vegan Lunch Box is home sick, but she feels better after she has some Tomato Rasam.

When other food bloggers came for dinner, Amy of Cooking with Amy would serve them Cream of Broccoli and Pesto Soup.

At Bakingsheet, Nic is usually making scruptious looking baked treats, but she takes time out to make a colorful Hot and Sour Cabbage Soup.

Bad weather and no internet connection inspired Susan from Fat Free Vegan Kitchen to make Stormy Black Bean Soup.

At What We're Eating Tyler and Amanda create a very non-boring looking Rustic Bean, Kale, and Turkey Soup.

And finally, over in Italy Ilva of Lucullian Delights creates Hot Broccoli and White Bean Soup with Rosemary.
