OK folks if I ever win the lottery (or if I'm still able to walk by the time all of these kids move out) I'm going to do something like this.

The Los Angeles Looking Glass

Let's backtrack a bit. Last summer, Lisa Salem (a mixed media artist who paints beautifully) walked the whole of Los Angeles with a camera strapped on to a baby stroller and stopped people on the street to document their encounter.

"Walk! Los Angeles with me" turned into a tour of not only the city, but of it's people. From Echo Park to Skid Row to Hollywood to Crenshaw and everywhere in between. Lisa gives us a view of a city we often don't see.

Currently, it seems she's trying to get funding to turn her experience into a documentary and has already had an episode shown on regional cable. Stop by and say hello.
