Check below for updates on new BlogHer Business speakers, BlogHer's two big public announcements this week, a Happy Birthday BlogHer Recap, a new contest we're running on BlogHer (with a free conference pass as the grand prize) and of course our update on what you may have been missing on the BlogHer site. Update #1: More BlogHer Business Conference speakers confirmed.

Debi Fine, president of iVillage will join our Day Two closing keynote session. Our Day One Large Enterprise case study has been confirmed, and will feature BlogHer's own Maria Niles interviewing Staci Schiller from Wells Fargo about how and why Wells Fargo has quietly been experimenting, and expanding their social media efforts. We've added Rachel Clarke to our Day Two opening keynote session. Rachel has worked with companies such as Guinness, SunSilk and Kleenex to implement social media programs, so she's observed first-hand the difference between success in the eyes of the blogosphere vs. success in the eyes of corporate execs. (Anyone remember the Captain Morgan blog?!) These are just three of our dozens of wonderful BlogHer Business speakers. Check out the full schedules for Day One and Day Two to see the entire line-up.

Update #2: BlogHer published two press releases this week.

Press Release #1 announced to the world not only our keynote speakers at BlogHer Business, but gave a first look at our premium sponsors. I'll cut to the chase: They include Yahoo!, Cisco, Prudential and SixApart. Press Release #2 announced a new deal we've inked with HarperCollins. You can find more details in our Special Offers section. Basically, HarperCollins will be running a Virtual Book Tour on BlogHer and across the BlogHer Ad Network for at least the next three months, introducing nine new titles to the market. This release is getting picked up off the wires because HarperCollins is breaking some new ground with such an ongoing, sustained online-community-based campaign.

Update #3: Happy Birthday BlogHer.org!!:

[img_assist|fid=1584|thumb=1|alt=BlogHer logo] Last week marked the one-year blogiversary of the community-based BlogHer.org. Prior to january 30, 2006 Blogher.org had been the place where Elisa, Jory and Lisa had blogged about the 2005 conference, sharing information and seeking feedback. When the new site launched we had added our amazing contributing editors, a directory of women bloggers, forums, and a place where BlogHers could meet daily until the next Conference gave us another chance to met face-to-face. Go check out Lisa's Happy Birthday BlogHer post to get a run-down on how far the site and our members have come in just one year!
