A Fibery Mixed Bag

Let's hear it for the multi-talented hobby blogger. While the dedicated knitting blogger is a delight to read, I personally love those who not only share their fiber, but their fruits, flowers, fitness and other hobby obsessions, too.

Ya gotta love The Crochet Dude! How many dudes can comfortably hang in a industry that is now perceived as so strongly feminine?? While Drew can hold his own as a designer/ crocher dude, he also has figured out how to feng shui his yard!

I just found Pocket Farm. While she writes mainly about Voluntary Simplicity, she also writes about her garden and her fiber pursuits. She had an interesting take on the winter blues:

The other day, I mentioned feeling down with the winter blahs or blues. Whatever it was, I was feeling uninspired.

I just realized the problem is not winter. Well, not entirely.

I ran out of knitting.

Kathy shares her quilting and some bird sightings.

Debbishare both her fiber and fitness obsessions.

The Irish Craftworker is awaiting an important birth (not hers).

Edited to add: Oh my goodness, talk about timing! Steph the Yarn Harlot has taken this week off from knitting to blog about a major "While You Were Out" home improvement project while her husband is out of town for 5 days.
Debra Roby blogs her art at A Stitch in Time and her life at Deb's Daily Distractions .
