Easter is coming, but you still have plenty of time to make Hot Cross Buns, traditionally eaten on Good Friday, with the cross on top symbolizing Christ dying on the cross. But whether or not you make them for the religious significance, Hot Cross Buns are a delicious symbol of Easter.

The Hot Cross Buns in my photo were made last Easter, and showcased in a post with amazing step-by-step photos of how to make Hot Cross Buns, by Haalo of Cook (almost) Anything At Least Once.

At Kitchen Parade, Alanna and her sister both remember their mother each year when they make Hot Cross Buns.
