We're going to reprise it at WITI's annual Women & Technology Summit this September, for those of you in Silicon Valley. Unfortunately Annalee will be unavailable, but I'm finding a very worthy replacement. Dawn and Erica are joining us again, which thrills me no end.

I was impressed with this panel at the time and thought it was one of the most interesting at SXSW. Here's you chance to get in on it if you missed the real thing.

I knew that, I don't know why I had Lijit in my head. And I didn't even spell *that* company name right!

All fixed, sorry.

Jive Software

Actually, I left Compiere to join Jive Software (not Ligit) :-)

I had a great time on the panel at sxsw, and hope that we get to do more of these together in the future!

Finally, the final BlogHer at SXSW podcast

OK, I don't feel quite so bad about how long it takes us to occasionally get all of our audio feeds from the conferences up online. The fine folks at SXSW Interactive just posted the podcast from the second BlogHer session at SXSW this past March.

Session details:

Non-Developers to Open Source Acolytes: Tell Me Why I Care

Description: Open source and standards are like religion to some in tech, but many non-developer technology consumers wonder: why should we care? Check out this debate between open source advocates and devil's advocate, figure out if you care.

Moderator: Elisa Camahort Pres of Events & Mktg, BlogHer
Dawn Foster, now with Jive Software
Annalee Newitz, Technology Journalist and Editor
Erica Rios, Internet Project Mgr, Anita Borg Institute For Women and Technology

mp3 Link

We're taking this show on the road as part of the BlogHer track at the WITI Annual Women & Technology Summit this September, so if you missed us in Austin, catch us in Santa Clara later this year!
