http://www.blogher.com/node/2387 Comments for "Blogging for a Cause at Northern Voice" en http://www.blogher.com/node/2387 <p>I'm back from <a href="http://www.northernvoice.ca">Northern Voice</a>, the Canadian bloggers conference where day one had a whole break out section for non profit folks organized by Alexandra Samuels of <a href="http://www.netsquared.org/">NetSquared</a> and <a href="http://www.socialsignal.com/">Social Signal</a>. Alex <a href="http://alexandrasamuel.com/20060210/online-community-session-at-netsquared-north">captured</a> some of our <a href="http://www.netsquared.org/blog/alexandra-samuel/live-blogging-today-from-netsquared-north">session</a> on blogging and community. It was fun to see Leda of <a href="http://www.scoutseven.com/blog/">Scout7</a> there and we missed Blogher <a href="http://ext337.org/">Marnie Webb</a> who had some travel challenges. </p> <p>What struck me about the NetSquared session at Northern Voice was that it was more women than men. NV itself was still kinda man-centric, but it was great to see many women, and many of them with a passion for the application of technology for social good/change. Props to the guys too - not trying to slight you. But the question keeps surfacing, is it the women that are going to change the world?
