The theme for the September 2007 Women and Technology Summit is innovation. Elisa's panel will be discussing open source.

I know Jive Software well, and they will be proponents of open source. I just got a new laptop. I'm going to use as much open source sw as is reasonable (reasonable = sw is baked and ideally has a commercial open source sister). Not going the Linux OS route though.

I like WITI because it is another venue to showcase strong women, making a difference.
