loved getting this. my daughter is only 6 months but I put it on in the background and she loves the singing. it sounds a lot better then my renditions that's for sure! thanks

I finally got my copy right after Thanksgiving

My three year old liked this movie, I don't think it held her attention as well as some disney movies do.... but she does enjoy the music and will ask to watch it. I loaned it to my friend with a 4 year old and it was right up her alley.

My daughter really likes the fairy godmothers & Aurora portion the best, I felt overall the movie had a really good message and the music was good.

My daughter (4) enjoyed this movie, but has not asked to watch it more than once. The Sleeping Beauty story was similar to when the story of the princess runnning the castle in Cinderella 2. Sleeping Beauty is her favorite princess though, so it was nice to see her in another story. The Jasmine story had a catchy song that stayed in my head all day. ( I wont give up....)

My daughter really did love this movie. She's a big Sleeping Beauty fan and I was sure she wouldn't really care about the Jasmine portion. She proved me so wrong! She's a big fan of horses so the Jasmine story was a huge hit. She also loved the shenanigans when Aurora used the fairy's wand. She spends a lot of time now singing the songs and acting out parts in the movie. I do love that the Disney DVDs usually have some cute songs in them.

All in all I would say that this is a great movie for kids in the 3 to 6 range. We loved the games included as well.

We will probably buy the Cinderella / Mulan DVD due out soon.

Grandma had already gotten Roo this DVD by the time ours came in the mail, so it was bestowed upon her best girlfriend. They festooned themselves in dress-up finery and watched it a couple of times in a row. I prefer the old school movies the Princesses came from but the girls don't seem to mind. I will say that the Barbie Island Princess DVD Roo got around the same time is a MUCH better movie. Better songs, better story, etc.

What's not to like about nonstop stories about Princesses. Disney Princess Enchanted Tales DVD was a hit! My daugther Margeaux is a 5 year old Princess-in-Training. She loved it. She watched over and over and over. She forced anyone and everyone within a 50 mile radius of our home to watch...YIKES! A DVD solely about Disney Princesses, JOY! JOY !JOY!

My only problem is that my daughter and I are African American and to date there are no Disney Princesses that look like us. Does Margeaux care...no--however she does notice from time to time and has asked me if Princesses could have dread-locs. Of course I say. But I know the reality is probably not and therein lies the rub...letting my kid identify with princeses who don't look anything like her. Maybe I am too jaded and have seen too much in the world. I do know this DVD made my daugther happy and she imagined herself floating and lovely and lush and beautiful and she is all those things, the Disney Princesses just confirmed it and for that I loved the DVD.

So thanks.

I think little girls should have that moment in their life when all their dreams are pink and purple and the only worry is whether or not shinny sequenced shoes could be worn to church with a pink boa and of course a sparkly tiara. Hey, you're 5 only once...kick-it like a Princess I say!

The girls had been asking when we would get it and I was afraid we wouldn't. When it came they were thrilled! They loved watching the movie (as did their 9 year old male cousin). However, I expected they would want to watch it over and over, like they have other favorites. This has only been watched a few times, but there is still hope - with the holidays and birthdays now winding down I'm sure they'll "rediscover" it.

This came shortly before Christmas so I held on to it as an extra Christmas present. We watched the first tale the day after Christmas and my almost-2 year old loved it. She's just starting to get into cartoons and such. I was afraid how I'd like it because I don't normally like animated stuff-- but this was easy to tolerate and I liked the lesson taught. May be awhile before my daughter gets the lesson but that just makes it all the more valuable-- she'll get multiple levels of use and enjoyment in the coming years! Thanks!

My daughter was excited when this came in the mail and she saw what it was. We immediately watched the dvd and she loved it. Especially that Jasmine was in the story. She loves her and hasn't seen anything new of her in awhile. She has watched it over and over.
