Planets Change Sign and Change Direction this November.

I promised to give you a heads-up on the astro-events of this coming month. Besides yesterday’s Mercury direct, two other planets will be changing direction. Mars will turn retrograde on Nov. 15 for 10 weeks. The Red Planet turns retrograde every other year, and this will be a particularly potent episode for reasons we’ll explore in the next week or two.

Then, on Nov. 24, Uranus will turn direct after moving backward since June.

There are other events in November, too. Venus will move from Virgo into Libra on Nov. 8, and Mercury will reenter Scorpio on the 11th. For 3 weeks, we can all use the mental depth that Mercury in Scorpio brings.

The Moon is in Leo all day, and still in the Third Quarter Phase, at 40% of full.

Today’s aspects are:
Sun Trine Mars: Assertive action brings powerful and juicy rewards. It’s a perfect day to kick-start those tasks or projects that have been lagging!

Jupiter Sextile Neptune: There are no limits to our faith right now: our faith in ourselves, our future, our dreams. Use this time to meditate and contemplate.

Happy Birthday to rapper Nelly, who is 33 today; and also to Korn bass player Reginald Arvizu who is 38, and finally to singer k.d. lang who is 46 today.
