Just Hello

Hi, I am totally new to this blogging lark. Just got into it to help a friend "over the water" out annd now find myself with the blogging bug.

Good to find a UK blogging site as the US ones don't really relate.

With the Easter/Spring break nearly upon us, what are we Mums to do to entertain the kids for a fortnight?

At least there will be a cessation to the early morning fights over getting dressed, what they want (or don't want) for breakfast and getting them out the door clean and tidy for school.

Well now that the better weather is here (ha ha) we need to start swimming again - good for Mums too!! Museums are always fun- as well as being, dare I say it, Educational sshh!! Painting and playdo - thank heavens, I have laminate flooring - easy clean - is always a good one - they can make as much mess as they want!

Baking is always a good fallback - playing with the cookie dough and chocolate krispies being all time favourites! - at 9, my boy may pretend he is past these childish pleasures, but I am sure there will be a fight over licking the spoon! and isn't Daddy in for a treat when he gets home - we made these for you Daddy, you must have them for dessert!!

I have to do my best to limit PSP gaming and computer usage - but hey, we need a break too!

And don't forget the Easter Egg Hunt - here's hoping the birds don't get to them first!!

Seems pretty straightforward.

Terry writes <a href="http://happygirlmusing.blogspot.com/" target="_top">Dating Advice (Almost) Daily

when I get the links?

Non Home Blog

How are comments displayed?

We've been asked why some comments posted later seemed to appear above comments posted earlier. The answer is that comments are displayed in a threaded view. In other words, it's possible for you to respond to a specific comment rather than to the overall conversation.

To illustrate....

post X

comment 1 (reply to post X)

comment 2 (reply to comment 1)

comment 5 (reply to comment 2)

comment 6 (reply to comment 2)

comment 3 (reply to comment 1)

comment 9 (reply to comment 3)

comment 4 (reply to comment 1)

comment 7 (reply to post X)

comment 10 (reply to comment 7)

comment 8 (reply to post X)

Here, the comment numbers represent the order in which they were posted. The threaded display, however, lays out the comments as shown. (This is what we mean when we say threaded comments allow people to respond to a specific comment rather than to the overall conversation.)

To reply to a post, use the comment form at the bottom of the page. To reply to a comment, click "reply" within the comment (and your comment will be threaded to that comment).
