10086 Sunset Boulevard

I started my website after experiencing a couple of life changing events. When I began the website, two and a half years ago, I was a scorned woman, but determined to emerge from the ordeal without remaining bitter and to learn from the experience and move on with a different perspective as I moved into my fifties. It's been about moving on - the setbacks and the victories. I try to approach it all with a sense of humor.

Sunset Boulevard is one of my favorite old movies. I watched the movie when I was thinking about creating my website and, although I had watched the movie before, I saw it through different eyes now. I did not want to become the deluded Norma Desmond, the Scorned Women who resorted to extreme measures to keep her man from leaving her. Sunset Boulevard, the movie, is a cautionary tale about the consequences of not letting go of the past. It was a springboard for launching my website - the URL is the street address of the house in movie.
