So I've been playing around with my Flip clips that I haven't gotten to - given our totally snowed in state (which you can see video of - with lovely piano music played by my aunt! in the background - here) and I finished off this video of me going to vote, including a picture of the Ohio ballot.

They probably show up in the finder because it opens the folder they are saved in. Are you using the Flip software to transfer them to your computer or are you dragging and dropping?
I know I had issues when I just tried to drag and drop, but I am not sure why. I now transfer using the flip software (installed on the camera) and I then use Quicktime Pro to edit (compresses to web or email size). You can also edit length, but to put various clips together iMovie is best. After transferring there is an option in the Flip software to delete the video from the camera.
I love mine. Not doing much you-tubing as half the time I can't access from here, but my daughter LOVES making movies and emailing them to her friends and family.

I like it very much - is the learning how to edit with iMovie that's taking soooo long - I have two more videos to finish up - one is of me and my voting place and a view of the actual Ohio ballot- woohoo - and the other is of the senior citizen home where I interviewed the gentleman.

One thing though - I noticed that after I'd saved clips to my computer, when I then turned the flip back on? I didn't see any of the clips on the Flip - but when I plug the flip into my computer again, they do show up in the finder.

Do you know what I mean?

I want to get the tripod too. I'm a video junkie now - and I've only had a youtube account for a week! :)

It is time. The big ones. The ones that could make or break the democratic side of this election. Ohio, Texas, Vermont and Rhode Island-you're up.

Various media outlets are dubbing today as Hillary's Last Stand, as Senator Hillary Clinton's supporters, including her husband, have said she must win Texas and Ohio if she is to narrow the lead Senator Barack Obama enjoys in the delegate count and carry on her bid for the nomination.

Obama has won 11 contests in a row, and he leads Clinton 1,378 to 1,269 in national delegates, CNN estimates. 370 delegates are at stake.

On the GOP 256 GOP delegates are up for grabs and the primaries could give Arizona Senator John McCain enough delegates to claim the nomination.

The election is taking it's toll on voters.

Blog con Queso is tiring of the lawn signs and lines for early voting, "I just got back from voting. I didn't end up having enough time on Wednesday to fight the lines, so I hit it first thing this morning. So did a whole heck of a lot of other people. Have I mentioned the line yet? I'm not sure I can convey to you how many people who live near me decided to vote this morning in wind-around Six Flags queues of many. Thankfully, it all moved really fast."

Don’t believe for a moment that all soldiers will come home, as there are bases around the world from previous battles and wars still with our military stationed there to protect the United States interests.

Catie Coleman of the Ohio University's The Post writes, "With all the visits and press coverage, it feels like OU is at the center of the universe.

I’ve managed to have class during each and every one of the campaign stops these past few days, so I haven’t got to see Bill or Chelsea Clinton, or Michelle Obama. But just judging from the crowds gathering outside where they were supposed to be meeting, their visits are striking a chord with people.

Ohio actually matters in election cycles, but this election seems to actually matter to Ohioans. People seem excited by this primary, exhilarated by it. Maybe it’s the prospect of really affecting the outcome of things. Maybe it’s this hope for change...That being said: If you do see me going past you, please don’t give me a flyer. I’ve got my mind made up; it’d be a waste of paper."
