This would be good feedback for the site owner

If you don't like the floating banner, you should tell him. Also, I see what you mean about the popup box. I actually like it but I have to have the link I'm running my mouse over in just the right spot or else the top or bottom of the content is cut off.

I think it's a nifty design but it could use some work.

The popups

that are associated with each link appear partially out of view above the top of the browser window. And there's a floating banner or footer or something about 3/4 of the way down the window that stays in the way all the time. I found some interesting content, but it was a bit like playing hide and seek to find it behind the floating thingy and all the popups. I'd hate to see them lose viewers and return visitors because the site is like that. But maybe I'm the only person it bothers?

Hi Virgina!

I'm using it on a Mac with Firefox. Seems ok to me. What's going on for you?

the website is a bit of a nightmare, at least in Firefox on a Mac.
I hope that won't stop people from using what they have to offer.

Where Can I Find Nonprofit Blogs? Nonprofit.alltop.com

"Nonprofit.alltop.com has the potential to change the world the most."--Interview with Guy Kawasaki on Lifehack.org

As a nonprofit consultant, I am often asked, "Where can I find nonprofit-related blogs ?" I usually direct people to places like Emily Weinberg's Nonprofit Blog Exchange, or BlogHer's Social Change and Nonprofit blog list. Now I have a new resource to send folks to, nonprofit.alltop.com.

Alltop is a site that aggregates news and blog feeds by topic from “all the top” sites on the web. Topics include: autos, career, celebrities, cute, design, egos, fashion, food, gadgets, gaming, green, health, humor, journalism, mac, moms, music, news, nonprofit, oddities, photography, politics, popurls, religion, science, small business, social media, sports, twitterati, venture capital and windows.

The site is the brainchild of Nononina (Will Mayall, Kathryn Henkens and Guy Kawasaki). Nedra Weinreich of Spare Change worked with Alltop to figure out what nonprofit news and blog feeds should included (thanks for including Have Fun * Do Good and NetSquared!).

Give the nonprofit and green sections a browse. You may be surprised by what you find as Roger Carr of Everyday Giving Blog observed after using the site,

"I was aware of most of the nonprofit blogs featured on the site. However, I discovered a few I wasn't aware of or hadn't visited in a while. The service provides a quick way to find the stories of interest."

You can send suggestions for blog or news feeds that should be included in any of the categories to info@alltop.com.

BlogHer Contributing Editor, Britt Bravo, also blogs at Have Fun * Do Good, and NetSquared
