Yes sirree BOB! After <a href="http://mommamary.blogspot.com/2008/04/it-seemed-like-good-idea-at-time.html">losing my X</a> during a 'routine laptop cleaning' (HA!), I lost it. I looked. I looked under and in and around the chair where said cleaning took place. I looked everywhere. I even ripped apart a vacuum bag (Yes, Nessa, I looked IN the vacuum!) and dumped its contents onto the floor looking for that X. X. Was gone. Not to be found.</p> <p>Wait. Didn't I write this post last week? Today <a href="http://www.parts-people.com/">Parts-People.com</a> came through. FedEx came while I was in the shower (I am sooo glad Not the Momma was home to intercept!) and dropped off my NEW keyboard. It was so new and un-shiny. No doggy hairs or baby drools or milk stuck under the keys. It was so new and wonderful, that rather than replacing <em>just</em> the X, I replaced the whole keyboard. I took my precious laptop apart and put the new keyboard on.</p> <p>The feeling I get from typing on this new keyboard is one of pure X-stasy.</p> <p>X-stasy. Get it? ecstasy? My X was missing, but now that it's been found i'm in X-stasy.. okay FOR! GET! IT!</p> <p>I love the new click in my keys.
