something that I have tried is first, putitng some raspberries into a container, then pour gelatin mix over it, put in fridge for 2 hours to set. Pour in the panna cotta mixture after. When that is set, turn it over to remove from container and you will have a beautiful raspberry gelatin on top.

Toss some raspberries around it and you are set!

two weeks ago i was eating rhubarb crumble with my sister in London. She had picked it that morning on her boyfriend's father's allotment. panna cotta would have gone perfectly.

sigh.

now i'm back in Canberra, and it's grey and wintry. too cold for panna cotta! we are well into the season for soups, and stews, and baked puddings...

thanks for the glimpse of summer!

Gotta Make-a Panna Cotta - Panna Cotta Recipes

What happens with we warm cream with a little gelatin and sugar? It turns into something miracuously creamy and cool that rolls across the tongue as unctuously as down the throat. Panna cotta [PAHN-nah KOH-tah] is Italian for 'cooked cream' and is a light, silky egg custard served cold. For some weeks, there's been no clicking into a feed reader without being tempted by another new recipe for panna cotta. Perhaps it's because cream and summer fruits are such a natural combination? Just look --
