Kudos to you for listening to your gut when your cat was stuck in part of your house. It's great you have such a connection with them!

This doesn't work every

This doesn't work every time, but a couple of times I got a feeling my cat was stuck in a part of the house and I was able to fish her out (she didn't call out so wasn't in great distress yet, but I got an urgent sort of feeling). Similarly, I often get a sense about where my cats are when they are out roaming (general location, distance) and they in turn seem to know exactly where I am in choosing which window to appear at when they want to be let in.

What is Animal Communication?

Have you ever had a gut feeling that your pet was telling you something? Have you been in the middle of reading a good book, oblivious to the world, and all of the sudden you're jolted back to the present with very clear, unspoken words like 'Time to take me outside' or 'The water bowl is empty'? Have you ever had an overwhelming hunch that your pet needs to visit the vet, even though, logically, everything appears to be OK?

Most of us who live with pets have experienced incidents such as those described above. Even though we are of different species than our pet partners, there are times when we transcend the ostensible species communication barrier.

That is animal communication.

Animal communication takes place every day in many different ways, and it is a skill that anyone who so desires can cultivate. It is not a gift of the select few, or those who are 'psychics'. We are all psychic, therefore we can all connect with our pet partners, if we so desire.

I invite any of you who have experienced communication with your pet partner(s), or with animals in the wild, to share your stories here!
