Reach Out Tour Reminders!

If you're anything like me, you cannot believe it's going to be September already...which means that autumn really is right around the corner, with BlogHer's Reach Out Tour right along with it.

(And also if you're anything like me, you also haven't begun packing for your vacation even though your plane leaves tomorrow morning at dawn. Ahem.)

So before you head into the long Labor Day weekend for your final(ish) summer hurrahs, don't forget to make plans for BlogHer's Tour. We kick off in Boston in only 45 days!

Need a Reach Out Refresher? Here's Five Things to keep in mind:

#1. You can find regular updates on the event (and all our events) by clicking on our Conference tab up there. Or just click here.

#2. Did you know that most of the agendas have been published? Don't forget to check back as they are regularly updated, too. Find out what all's going on in each of our six cities -- they're all a little different.

#3. We have hotel blocks reserved in several cities, so please take advantage of them!

-The BlogHer Rate at the Boston Marriott Burlington is just $139/night, which is great for this fabulous foliage time of year. Click here to reserve a room. You can also call to make a reservation (800-228-9290), but please let the hotel know you're with the BlogHer group!

- In DC, the Hyatt Regency Bethesda is already sold out, but you can STILL GET A ROOM if you let them know you're with BlogHer. The rate is $215/night (not SO bad for one month before the Presidential Election) and you can make your reservation by clicking here. You can also call the hotel at (301) 657-1234.

- In Greensboro, our event comes on the heels of Converge South, and it's hard to get a room. So we're pleased to announce that we have several rooms left in our block (at a rate of $129/night). Click here to reserve a room at the Marriott Greensboro Downtown. You can also call the hotel at (336) 379-8000.

- Good news! We have lots of rooms available in New Orleans. The NOLA event will take place at the Hampton Inn Hotels & Suites Convention Center, at a group rate of $169/night. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (866) 311-1200 and let them know you're with BlogHer.

#4. GM Carpool is still open! In case you've missed it, GM is graciously providing vehicles to get bloggers to and from our Reach Out Tour cities. Read all about how you can get to the event in a free GM vehicle here! We've already booked carpoolers to Boston and New Orleans, but still have room for folks heading to DC, Greensboro, Nashville, and Atlanta.

#5. You can save all kinds of $$ on BlogHer registrations (Reach Out Tour OR BlogHer '09) by referring newbies! Elisa posted the details of this new program yesterday, and it's pretty cool. You can even get a FREE registration and win $500 for your referrals, so be sure to check it out.
