This guy, Montana Govorner Brian Schweitzer, is the only person who mentioned the word "storms" during the DNC speeches last night.Come on Democrats. This was a complete Russian softball of fire, definitely headed into the Gulf, ready for the taking last night. Can someone say DOMESTIC ISSUES? HELLOOOOThe GOP will be all over this, just you wait and see. Bill Clinton speaks tomorrow night. BTW, the local news tonight, sent "word out", that Mayor Nagin was also at the DNC and would have a spokesman speak on his behalf concerning Hurricane Gustav for the night. They showed a picture of "command central" at City Hall, which was supposedly "buzzing" with people taking 311 calls and directing callers to helplines. Fletcher Mackel's camera man then pans across the room and there is this ONE poor lonely girl, sitting at a desk with telephone to ear. Bless her heart, they probably grabbed her from Galatoire's or something. Granted it was at 10pm at night, but you would think things would be moving a little by now.8 AM! Bright and early people!
