A couple of days ago The Huffington Post did a video roundup of GOP VP pick, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The videos were of her comments on important issues relating to Alaska. Well anyone can do that. But tell me, have you seen clips of Governor Palin back when she was a sportscaster? Or watched as she hiked to her office from her house with a local Alaskan podcaster? Or heard what the Red State Update has to say about the moose hunting firebrand? That's where I come in.

Though my political humor video roundup this week will focus on the Governor Palin, I'll leave plenty of room for some quick humor hits of Barack Obama and John McCain.

First a little introduction of the Governor in this video from John of Vlogbrothers.

Sarah Palin did a stint as a sportscaster for KTUU Channel 2 in the 80's. Take a look:

She's got that big 80's hair goin' and I actually think she's kinda cute. But I'm happy to report her speaking skills have improved significantly since those days.

While hunting further on the internet I found an on location interview Governor Palin did with Alaska Podshow host Scott Slone called "Hike With Gov. Sarah Palin." In it Scott and the Governor walk from her home to her office through the streets of Juneau. The pretty shots of Alaska almost make me want to visit, in spite of Palin's politics.

On a more serious note, here she is on Charlie Rose:

And you thought Sarah Palin was a total surprise? Well, I've got news for you. Glenn Beck's video pitch for Sarah Palin which was put on YouTube two months ago was evidently part of a grass roots campaign to get Palin on the McCain ticket:

My only question is, who was he posting it for? Did he first send a copy to John McCain and then upload it to YouTube just for kicks? Just askin'.
