I'm linking right to the beginning, for two reasons. One is the list of destinations she's hit in the past three years. Impressive. Gotta-get-me-a-plane-ticket-now inspiring. Second, she explains that this blog was born in response to the departure of her significant other for a six-month trip of his own around the world, and to an exploration of her own feelings about leaving, and coming home. </p> <p>"Who understands wanderlust better than a travel writer?" she writes. "On the other hand, I'm not accustomed to being the one left home, which can chafe." </p> <p>Lovely writing, and an interesting new take on a topic that is familiar to her, and likely to many readers.
