I think with age comes more use of concealer. I hate to admit it but from time to time i use it. I think most importantly is you want to look and feel beautiful for some women thats a little makeup for others its a lot.

I can vouch for the fact that this concealer is indeed AMAZING. She turned me onto it a few months ago and I love it! It's definitely worth the hefty price tag.

Amazing Cosmetics AmazingConcealer - It's (dare I say it?) AMAZING

With the exception of mascara and lip gloss, I tend to be pretty loyal to my beauty products. When I find an item I love, I stick with it for eons. I mean, I used the same brand of concealer for TWELVE YEARS. It was the first "fancy" (i.e., department store) cosmetic that I ever purchased, and while I tried other brands afterwards, I never found anything that worked better than my beloved Prescriptives Camouflage Cream.

Until now.

I think the search for an effective concealer is something most of us have engaged in since we started wearing makeup. In literary terms, the perfect concealer is a big ol' elusive white whale. You want something hefty enough to completely cover up dark circles, pimples, and redness, but don't want it to look like you applied it with a gardening trowel in order to achieve that. It's a delicate balance, one that most brands have not mastered. Well, I'm here to tell you that Amazing Cosmetics AmazingConcealer is by far the best concealer I've ever tried.

In order to demonstrate its awesome powers, I'm going to do something very brave: show you my eyes, sans concealer. IN EXTREME CLOSE-UP.

AHHH! I know, and I'm sorry. First thing in the morning, people.

According to Sephora, the concealer has a "highly-pigmented, super emollient waterproof formula," which sums it up perfectly. The formula is thick, yet spreads with ease. I lightly apply tiny dots of it around my scary, dark circles (it's all you need! really!)...

...and blend it with either a concealer brush, or my ring finger (it's the weakest finger, and therefore offers the lightest, most subtle touch when applying concealer)...

And voila!

At $42 for .5 oz. (or $28 for the new .2 size tube), the concealer is admittedly quite pricey. However, I've found it easy to rationalize the cost, considering the highly-concentrated formula. I've been using it for almost a year now, and have made only the slightest of dents in the tube. It has true staying power, and requires only a few small dabs to make an incredible difference. My search for the world's most perfect concealer is officially over!
