Screaming into the Void talks about the heavy armor she wears in her daily life in "Armor":

"I wear invisible armor all the time, I think most women have to just to get through the day. Its a sort of emotional armor against the ubiquitous misogynist prejudice and blatant objectification existing everywhere. I can never quite relax, because as soon as I let myself feel free, along will come something to show me how inferior or poorly regarded I am."

Read the whole thing, it talks about something you may find yourself nodding in agreement with, and works in a reference to the Dilbert cartoon strip, to boot.

Diane Dees at The Dees Diversion critiques the professional tennis world's pervasive sexism:

"This inequality is encouraged by television announcers, both male and female. They may say of a woman, 'Look, her service motion is a bit like McEnroe's.' They may also say, 'When she comes to the net like that, she reminds me a bit of Evonne Goolagong.' But they will never, ever say, 'When I see him volley, I think of Navratilova,' or 'His service motion is abbreviated, like Mauresmo's.'"
