Escape to the Escape

I'd definitely roll with the Escape Hybrid for a road trip. It's got great gas mileage for that long drive, it's easy on the eyes and its recycled seat fabric (hopefully) means I won't get as upset when my kids spill juice all over the place. I have a soft spot for Fords since my first car was a Ford and my husband only drives Ford trucks. Overall, it looks like a great mountain car for Mountain Momma!

Flex Fan

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to like the look of the Flex. I currently own a Volvo XC 90, so I would definitly prefer the flex for a road trip since we are used to the space.

Escape Hybrid

I love a good SUV and I've heard great things about the Escape Hybrid. I would totally want this vehicle on a road trip with me. It fits more cargo and more people. And the more people on a road trip, the better!!!

Hands down, the Escape. I can fit the kids, my husband, myself and our assorted goods into the car. It is incredibly fuel efficient, and I love the seats made out of recycled material! Can I start driving...now?!

The Escape Hybrid because it's fuel efficent(that's important to me) and because it has enough room to have a few people come with me if need be =]

Plus I can carry all the crap I pack. Lol

ESCAPE!!!

i've been driving an escape since 2004 (actually, my friend and i drove it to blogher '07 in chicago!) and i love it more than words can say. still, i wish it was the hybrid version. but, it was a gift, and one does not turn down a free car, right? anyway, i love my escape. it's compact enough to fit into compact car spaces, but big and tall enough to make me feel secure on the road. also, it's more fun if instead of calling it 'escape,' you call it 'es-cop-ay.'just sayin'.

Definitely the Escape Hybrid

I like that the escape is lighter on carbon outsets than traditional SUVs, but still is roomy enough for a cross country trip. I like riding in cars that you sit up higher in, especially on long trips. It seems to cut down on the car sickness.

Flex for me!

After looking at all the specs, I'd have to choose the Ford Flex, because as much as I'd love to be driving a hybrid these days, a vacation with my family requires a bit more space. Typically we use a third row seat to split the boys up when we are on long trips. It keeps the peace. We also have a dog who is so much a part of the family that we take him on vacation unless we are flying.

I once drove a Ford Explorer. It lasted for 10 years, and I loved it. It did not have much in the way of gadgets, nor does the car I currently drive, so when I looked at the list of available technology on the Flex, I was impressed. I particularly like the idea of a built-in refrigeration compartment, that would save us the room a cooler would take up.

So, send me to Blogher, I'm sure there's plenty for my husband and kids to do in Chicago, and we need an excuse for a road trip!

In addition, I have blogged it here.

If I could escape...

If it were just me, I would choose the Fusion Hybrid, small, sporty, sleak, a great looking car:)

If I had the kids, I would choose the Escape Hybrid, big enough for the family and all our cargo, but not too big:) I also love that the seats are made from 100% recycled material.
