My must have nursery item is a white noise/sound machine. We even travel with one!

I love the fact that Avent bottles are now BPA free---I'll be using them again this winter!

Good hair days are hard to come by in Florida, but when they hit, you feel like going out to make the most of the glam, and not swimming to ruin it!

A good ocean sounds or white noise CD, machine or downloaded app can save your sanity with some babies. Life in the womb was noisy with sloshing, and I've seen several babies increase their contentedness and breastfeeding immeasureably when the mama experiments with quiet, steady noises to calm, increase nap times or increase feeding times.

Make me feel like a sexy momma. Not only is my hair looking AWESOME but I am usually totting around a pretty handsome little boy on my hip. Or a pretty handsome husband at my side. When I have good hair days it boosts my self-esteem.

My glider. I have put so many miles on that baby. I even rock in it when my son is not in my arms. It's just so comforting. The second must have is the cd player that we always put on when he is sleeping. Also very comforting.

I couldn't live without....

I have quite a few- my sleepy wrap, a mechanical pump and my papisan chair- all made my life a little easier in the first few weeks of my 2nd child's birth!

So many nursery essential must haves!

I don't know if I could choose just one! I have four kids and am expecting my fifth child and to me, is my Medela breast pump (lifesaver for a mom prone to clogged milk ducts), glider rocker (to comfort the baby and yourself during long feedings), and a cd player with lots of soothing tunes! Those would be my top 3!

For my Girls Night Out, my friends and I head to our favorite "girly" restaurant, and leisurely chat and eat, then head to a chick flick at the movie theater! Sometimes we end the evening stopping off for ice cream, sometimes not, but who doesn't love a good Girl's Night Out?

As a first time mommy, there are many things that have saved my sanity during this first 7 months. However, the biggest lifesaver for me has been my sling. (I was given a Hotsling as a gift.) I never thought that I would be a "baby wearer", but my son loved the sling! He would probably still get in it if he fit! Now he loves being in the Baby Bjorn. He loves to be walked around. I recommend a sling to any mommy!

My must have was a nursing pillow! Even if you decide to not nurse get one! Holding your baby while bottle feeding you still need the support! Another must have is a swing! Especially if you have older kids, if you have a swing you know baby is safe, being entertained while your taking care of your older child. Plus babies love the soothing swing and music! Both my girls loved the swing.

Also, for me I nursed my younger DD for a year, and having a good binkie (pacifier) was so helpful, after she was done nursing I'd pop a binkie in her mouth and she was happy as pie. Funny is she outgrew the binkie by 8 months.

I'm still on cloud 9 from my last hair day. But I had professional help to do it. My friend was a matron of honor in our friend's wedding. I went along to help with the kids and was sitting around the hair salon when the stylist offered to do my hair. It was a total surprise. I was showered with complements. What a fun day! It just made me happy and confident.

Will eco-friendly laundry vendors be coming back to BlogHer? I was pleased last year with the soap nuts and biodegradable laundry packets promoted at one of the parties, and I was hoping to be introduced to more such products that I don't usually hear about. It seems like a great venue for smaller, more environmentally sensitive manufacturers to promote their products.

Any word?
