I'll start keeping an eye on things but I can tell you a few things off the top of my head that will seem common sense to you, certainly, as far as what works...

A real two way conversation. I try to respond to all the pitches I get in some way - sorry, this isn't for me, yes, I'd like to hear more, whoa, I want a piece of that. Even if the PR folks CAN'T give me a free trip to Barbados, I'd like to know that the loop is closed. I don't like it when people get in touch and then, don't respond because I've asked something they have to say no to. What, I've never heard "no" before? If my response isn't acknowledged, the PR mail is just spam.

Also good? Actually reading my blog. When I mentioned on my blog that I was giving away a book I reviewed, the publisher's PR guy contacted me to say they'd like to be the ones to give it away. Big win for them, and now, I have a relationship with that PR rep. I'm totally going to pay attention when he drops me email, aren't I?

I'll keep my eyes open. I find the whole business fascinating, now that I'm on the receiving end.

The picture quality was great, but the audio was not. If you hadn't provided a transcript, I wouldn't have been able to follow. Amazing to me that a cell phone has the memory to hold so much video. Remember when our computers held 64K?

1. Why is it that "teenage girl" and "grandma" are so often used as put downs to depict a lack of techy aptitude or expertise?

2. Are men involved in the community, and how do we deal with the fact that a pro-female community can be offputting to women in their 20s and 30s (the questioner's focus) who don't want to be gender identified, they just want to do their thing?

3. What's BlogHer.com built in, how to we populate it, monetize it, manage it?

4. Are we still trying to get interviews with the presidential candidates?

5. How does BlogHer's Ad Network function?

6. What is BlogHer's global reach and presence?
