 <description>&lt;p&gt;To me the figures for Buddhism are most surprising. Alternative religion in general has more women than men - and an online study in the Netherlands I did had only 30% Buddhist men. Perhaps the men are more likely to join once they decide to be into Buddhism? &lt;/p&gt;
