&lt;p&gt;I’m glad you found the term “Scuppie” to be catchy.  I will say that your book’s title -  “ECO-lutionary Selling” is pretty good as well...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I must admit, however, that I found the “greener-than-thou” tone of your post to be off-putting.  In fact, I am not sure how you reconcile your contempt toward Scuppies with the fact that you make your living by teaching companies how to sell to this precise demographic group -- talk about &#039;sincerity of purpose&#039;.  I would hope that those women (and men) who make *significant* efforts to better society would be secure enough in their efforts to commend those making *any* effort to further the cause -- maybe even crack a smile for a tongue-in-cheek idea like the Scuppie.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the upwelling of social and environmental consciousness that we’ve seen in the past decade is to continue...I would suggest we applaud *all* those who want to participate -- not just those tying themselves to redwood trees and buzzing oil tankers in inflatable boats.&lt;/p&gt;
